An innovative program to establish emotional resilience through training girls to provide empowering support 'girl to girl' for minor hardships that arise openly in a protected social network for girls.
The program aims to: strengthen the emotional resilience of girls who have experienced events that cause emotional distress, locate girls in risk and emergency situations and link them to timely treatment factors, reduce health and education resources through early detection and early response to minor distress, and enrich community knowledge through the creation of a dynamic insightful document of the authentic voice of the girls and workshops for care and education teams and the girls' parents.
The program has a frontal leg (two-hour sessions) and a digital leg (response to links on the network for healthy growth for girls), group guidance and individual guidance by a psychologist, continuous contact with authorities, schools and youth coordinators, and a central motif of accumulated knowledge.
The program has quantitative and qualitative measurement forms, and quantitative milestones for measuring success.
A pilot for the program was carried out in the cities of Tel Aviv, Bat Yam and Rosh Ha'Ein, partly with girls from displaced families.
